Social CRM for SMB

Social CRM is a word you will begin to hear more of in 2009. The emergence of social networking applications with CRM or ERP programs is inevitable as this form of media becomes more engrained in our daily lives. Companies are just now beginning to lay the framework for successful social media marketing strategies to both market their products and better serve their customers. Most of the work done in this emerging space is coming top down, with companies like Oracle and Seibel running initiatives to integrate these two worlds. What remains to be seen is how quickly this concept integrates the communities of small and medium sized businesses who can best be served by the availability of easy to use software applications, providing marketing as well as customer relationship and project management within one interface. |
